Il progetto Erasmus+Ka2 è un work in progress inarrestabile, perché inarrestabile è la scienza.
Anche quest'anno l'Istituto Mattei, in collaborazione con le altre delegazioni, porta avanti l'importante progetto che vede le discipline scientifiche in prima linea. Per dare una maggiore crescita culturale, certo, ma soprattutto il progetto CodeIT è una palestra per allenare le competenze informatiche.

° Transnational Project Meeting
Si è svolto a Riga, in Lettonia, dal 25 al 27 Settembre
il secondo Transnational Project Meeting all’interno
del progetto CodeIT . Ospiti della
KekavasVidusskola – nel piccolo centro di Kekava, non distante da Riga – le
delegazioni provenienti da Cipro, Polonia, Romania e Italia si sono di nuovo
incontrate (dopo Cipro e Italia) per confrontarsi e discutere dell’avanzamento
del progetto. In rappresentanza del Mattei hanno preso parte al meeting le
docenti Donatella Delmiglio e Paola Varani. E’ stato un incontro proficuo, che
ha permesso ai partecipanti di fare il punto sullo stato dell’arte e sui prossimi step da intraprendere: i
colleghi polacchi hanno introdotto la piattaforma VLET (Virtual Learning
Environment for Teachers), strumento fondamentale per il prosieguo del CodeIT,
il cui focus principale è aiutare docenti di discipline non informatiche (nello
specifico Chimica, Fisica, Geografia e Matematica) a prendere maggior
confidenza nell’utilizzo del coding e
programming in classe.

2nd Transnational Project
Meeting
The second Transnational Project Meeting was held in
Riga (Latvia) from 25th to 27th September. The delegations of Cyprus, Poland,
Romania and Italy met again (after Cyprus and Italy) to share ideas and discuss
the implementation of the project: the location was KekavasVidusskola in the
small town of Kekava, some kilometers south of Riga. Representing Istituto
Mattei two teachers – Donatella Delmiglio and Paola Varani – joined the assembly.
The meeting was particularly productive since it was focussed on the state of
the art and the further steps to undertake to keep the project up and running;
moreover, the Polish colleagues introduced VLET (Virtual Learning Environment
for Teachers), fundamental tool for the continuation of CodeIT, whose main aim is
helping teachers of non-IT subjects (Chemistry, Physics, Geography and
Mathematics) get more confident in using coding
and programming with students.
